Students applying for the Paramedic (Emergency Medical Services) program must obtain a health report certifying that they have a body structure and mental health suitable for obtaining a driver’s license. Additionally, due to the program requirements, students must be at least 17 years old and under 23 years old at the time of enrollment, as driving is mandatory in the second year of the program.
Male students must be at least 1.65 meters tall, while female students must be at least 1.60 meters tall. They should also have a weight that is either 5 kg above or 15 kg below their height in centimeters.
Moreover, they must possess the physical ability to work as part of a two-person team, capable of lifting a patient on a stretcher with the help of a teammate during rescue and transport operations.
