City of David

Description

The City of David is an archaeological site located in Jerusalem that is believed to be the original city of Jerusalem founded by King David in the 10th century BCE.

The site features a number of ancient ruins and artifacts dating back to the time of King David and the First Temple period. The stock image of the City of David might include a view of the archaeological park with the excavated remains of the ancient city walls, the Pool of Siloam, the Gihon Spring, or the Warren’s Shaft system.
