The Huldah Gate was a triple gate and were the main gates that led to the Temple during the time of Jesus. This is an actual stone from the Hulda Gate and it is the only one that has survived. it was the bottom stone on the left doorpost. The stone is elaborately embossed with floral designs, things of nature, and geometric patterns which were part of the decoration on the domes of the eastern Hulda Gate. The prophetess Huldah gave a scathing indictment against the leaders of Jerusalem in Old Testament times.
