Mesha’s Kingdom was an ancient kingdom located in present-day Jordan, which existed during the 9th century BCE. The kingdom was ruled by the Moabites and was centered around the city of Dibon. Mesha, the king of Moab, is known for his famous inscription, known as the Mesha Stele, which provides important information about the history and culture of the region during this time period.
The Mesha Stele was discovered in 1868 and is now housed in the Louvre Museum in Paris.
