The Red Sea

Description

The stock image shows the body of water located between the continents of Africa and Asia. The Red Sea is significant in biblical history as it was crossed by the Israelites during the Exodus from Egypt, with Moses parting the waters to allow them to cross on dry ground.

The Red Sea was also the site of other important biblical events, including the drowning of the Egyptian army as they pursued the Israelites, and the journey of the Queen of Sheba to visit King Solomon.

The map includes other notable locations along the Red Sea coast, such as the ports of Ezion-Geber and Elath, which were important for trade and commerce.
