No Entry Stone

Description

The stock image depicts a large, rough-hewn stone with the words “No Entry” carved into its surface in Hebrew.

This stone is a replica of the one that stood at the entrance to the Holy of Holies in the Temple in Jerusalem, the most sacred place in Judaism. According to Jewish tradition, only the High Priest was allowed to enter the Holy of Holies, and only on Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement.

The stone serves as a reminder of the solemnity and sanctity of this holy place, and of the reverence with which it was regarded by the ancient Israelites.
