Tomb of Cyrus

Description

The stock image depicts the Tomb of Cyrus, the great Persian king who founded the Achaemenid Empire. The tomb is located in Pasargadae, Iran, and is believed to have been built between 559 and 530 BCE. The structure is a rectangular stone chamber with a gabled roof and is elevated on a high platform.

The entrance to the tomb is at the front, and there are six broad steps leading up to it. The structure is adorned with intricate relief carvings depicting floral and geometric patterns.
